Let me give you a little background about myself. I was born in Miami Beach, Florida. My parents were European Jews who fled the Holocaust. They weren’t allowed to enter the United States at first, so they went to Cuba. My mom came to the U.S. to give birth to me—so technically, I might be an anchor baby, I’m not sure. When I was 6 months old, we returned to Cuba, and I spent my first 10 years living in Havana.
I lived through the Cuban Revolution. I witnessed the bombings, the terrorism, and then the government takeover. At first, it didn’t look like communism, but before long, the government took everything. They were executing people, putting them up against the wall, and shooting them. When I see what’s happening politically here today, it brings shivers down my spine. Propaganda reminds me of Cuba. For example, back in Cuba, we had three TV stations, but they all broadcasted the same content—just like watching the same narrative pushed across news networks here. I’ll leave the politics at that, but it’s part of my story.
In 1961, we fled Cuba and started over in New York City. My parents divorced, and by 1971, we moved again. I joined the U.S. Army and served for 6 years with an honorable discharge. I was a 62B20 heavy equipment maintenance mechanic. I didn’t go to Vietnam, but I did my time proudly. After the Army, I briefly attended Brooklyn Polytechnic, but I realized I wasn’t a college guy—I’m street smart, not book smart. My career took me through the precious metals industry, then as a commodity broker, and into FCC licenses. By 1990, I started SalesLeads.TV.
If you look closely behind me, you’ll see the AA Preamble. I’ve been clean and sober for 40 years, and I’m incredibly proud of it. That’s when my life turned around. I used to be in the record business, and trust me, it was a wild time. But I picked up my first white chip, and I never looked back. Why do I share that here? Because I’m a beacon of hope for anyone struggling with addiction. Here are the biggest challenges:
1. iPhone Silence Call Feature – This blocks calls from unknown numbers. If you buy 10,000 leads, you might only reach half. That’s why I’ve lowered my prices to help you double up on your volume.
2. Finding Good Salespeople – This is tougher than ever. My solution? Hire disabled veterans. These guys are disciplined, hardworking, and customers will love hearing from a vet. Plus, there might be government incentives for hiring them. Call your local veteran organization to find out how to hire these heroes.
- Volume Discounts – The days of buying 2,000–3,000 leads are gone. Now, you need to buy 10,000–30,000 leads at a time. I’ll give you volume discounts to make this work.
- Dialers – You may need to use a dialer system to handle the sheer number of leads. It’s a numbers game now.
- DNC (Do Not Call) Compliance – There are 250 million people on the Do Not Call list. We automatically clean your data against DNC litigators (I have 1.4 million of them on file). If you have a SAN number, we’ll clean your data for you. If not, I’ll help you get one. If you don’t want a SAN number, you’ll need to sign an indemnity form. Starting January 2025, there’s no more hanky-panky. If you don’t provide me with a suppression list, you won’t get credit for duplicate leads. It’s simple—just give me your phone numbers, and I’ll match them. I own 90% of the data out there, so don’t waste time arguing.
- Disconnected Numbers – I replace 2 for 1.
- Wrong Numbers – Same deal.
- New Buyers – If you’re just starting out and have decent salespeople, a solid list will make all the difference.
